You can finance small business with Grants. But in order to do that there are many conditions you must serve and a long way to go. They are not loans. You do not have to pay them back at any case, and this is one of the main reasons it is so hard to get your hands on them. But if you manage to succeed than it will benefit your company a lot.
You can ask for them either you want to start a company or even to expand the one you already have. They are given from many organizations. Mostly from the government through Small Business administration (SBA), but also you can seek them in EU, local authorities, regional development agencies and Chambers of Commerce.
There are two kinds of grants. The one is funding companies related to scientific researches and development, and to innovations in many different areas and the other one is about assisted areas. For the other half, which you have to cover, some of the organizations give very low interest loans to help you continue. You need to search a lot before you find them, and it is very hard to achieve your goal to the end.
However financing a small business with grants is worthwhile for all your efforts and waiting time. To some situations it ss the only way a company can begin and operate. It is not a long dream. You only have to be patient and insist on what you want. Try with many different ways and adjust your project so you satisfy all the demands.
