Help On “Free Cash” and “Free Grants”, etc.
Free Cash
First let’s briefly discuss “free cash”. Free cash is something that we’d all like. It’s not as simple as it sounds though, especially in today’s world. Yes there are grants, and yes they are free. Grants are sources of funds that need not be paid back. But beware of rhetoric stating “free cash”, usually when you see this phrase there really is a fee somewhere. Though, let it be known that typically a lot of hard work and diligence is definitely involved in obtaining a grant, so if the price is right and it’s a reputable company purporting to be able to help you get the “free cash” then the fee(s) may be well worth it to you.
Free Grants
What a misconception this one is. All grants are “free grants”, again this falls under the definition of a grant itself. A grant is free, however, some companies do charge for the service of “aiding” you in going after these “free grants”. This in and of itself is not a problem. Just beware of the companies that claim you can get “hundreds of free grants” by signing up for their online membership for a small monthly fee. When a true grant writing company assists you in obtaining a grant, there is a lot of work involved and it will typically cost you a significant amount of money. Remember the adage “you get what you pay for”.
Free Government Money
Yes, there are quite a large amount of “free government money” opportunities available for U.S. citizens these days, however, you shouldn’t fall under the spell of “free government money” pitches that you see all over the television. There are books that you can purchase which will show you the sources that you can use to find this “free government money” that you see all these people discussing at 3 o’clock in the morning.
Free Business Grants
There are “free business grants” out there. Once again, by definition any grant is “free”, however, you may want to consult a professional grant writing company before attempting to seek a business grant. Putting together a business grant proposal is no easy task, and on top of that, trying to get a business grant for a “for profit” business is even more difficult.
In Conclusion
Hopefully we’ve covered some misinformation regarding all of the “free cash” and “free grants” rhetoric that is broadcasted throughout the nation these days. Grants are wonderful, they help a lot of people and a lot of businesses in our country. If you qualify for a grant, take advantage of it to the fullest. Free assistance from the government (or private foundations) helps so many out there, why not allow it to help you if the help is available.
