Step 8- Dispersal of Grant Funds

Dispersal Of Grant Funds

Here is the fun part. Once a foundation has decided that your organization’s goals align with their own, they will send out written award notifications for the dispersal of grant funds. The award notification will include the amount of support the grant-maker is willing to provide, as well as what they expect in return from your organization. Some grant makers will disperse the funds and keep regular communication to a minimum, while others will expect quarterly reports to ensure that their generous donations are being used as intended.  We will address project evaluation in the next section. Keep in mind that it may take several weeks after a decision has been made for your organization to receive concrete financial assistance.
